Technical errors checklist

  • On the client machine, uninstall and re-install the latest version of ExpenseConnect. Perhaps, the issue has been fixed in the latest version.

 

  • (If using GP Web Services)
  • On the server, make sure the Microsoft Dynamics GP Service Host service is running and re-start it.
  • If DynamicsSecurityConsole is not accessible on the server, re-configure GP Web Services.
  • If the DynamicsWebServicesExceptionsConsole is not accessible on the server, re-configure GP Web Services.
  • In the DynamicsSecurityConsole, make sure the domain user used to run ExpenseConnect is setup as a superuser in the User Roles section.
  • In the DynamicsSecurityConsole, make sure the policies are setup properly for Create Payables Invoice and Create Payables Return.
  • On the client machine, if ExpenseConnect will not connect to GP Web Services, try configuring it to use the WS server’s IP address instead of DNS name.
  • On the client machine, make sure the eConnect service is running (if the client is using eConnect).

 

  • (If using eConnect)
  • Make sure the eConnect service user is a domain account and is a SQL Server sysadmin.
  • Make sure the eConnect service is installed and running on the client machine
