AddIn initialization error when opening GP

  1. Open the Dynamics.exe.config file (could be shown as just Dynamics.exe if file extensions are hidden) in the GP folder.
  2. Remove the ExpenseConnect and/or InvoiceConnect Addin xml elements from the Dynamics and the DynamicsGPWeb sections (screenshot below).

  3. TIP: To resave Dynamics.exe.config, save it to a temporary location first (e.g. desktop), then copy it from there and paste it back into the GP folder overwriting the existing file.
  4. If the problem persists, it might not be our addin that is the problem. Check the Windows Application Event Log to see which addin is failing
