403 error when attempting to create Concur token or pull reports

ExpenseConnect:

  1. Check the Concur Service Status to see if there is a performance issue or outage. If so, retry creating the token or pulling reports when the issue is resolved. http://open.concur.com/#us
  2. If using an implementation version of Concur, edit the Key and Secret fields in the Brittenford.Appsettings.config file. (Refer to the ‘Concur Site Overrides’ section of the User Instructions.)
  3. Make sure the ExpenseConnect application is enabled in the Web Services section of Concur.
  4. If using Concur Standard, make sure the account used to create the token has Can Administer and Can Approve checked in their user profile. If so, take these steps:
    • Find and open their user account
    • Unselect Can Administer and Can Approve
    • Save
    • Reopen their user account and select Can Administer and Can Approve
    • Save
    • Log out of Concur and log back in as that user
  5. If using Concur Professional, make sure the account used to create the token has the Web Services role and is an Expense User
  6. Reattempt to create the token or pull the reports

InvoiceConnect:

  3. Make sure the InvoiceConnect application is enabled in the Web Services section of Concur.
  4. If using Concur Standard, make sure that 'Is Invoice Admin?', 'Is Invoice AP User?', 'Is Invoice Owner?', and 'Is Invoice Approver?' is selected in the user account that was used to create the token. If so, take these steps:
    • Find and open their user account
    • Unselect 'Is Invoice Admin?', 'Is Invoice AP User?', 'Is Invoice Owner?', and 'Is Invoice Approver?'
    • Save
    • Reopen their user account and select 'Is Invoice Admin?', 'Is Invoice AP User?', 'Is Invoice Owner?', and 'Is Invoice Approver?'
    • Save
    • Log out of Concur and log back in as that user
  5. If using Concur Professional, make sure the user has the Web Services role, the Invoice Vendor Manager role, and the Invoice User role. 
  6. Reattempt to create the token or pull the requests
