Vendor Sync message cuts off some unsync'ed vendors

Here are the steps to see the full message:

 

1. Close GP

2. Open Dynamics.exe.config from within the GP folder in a text editor (eg Notepad)

3. Paste in the following into the bottom of the file - just above the ending configuration tag

<trace autoflush="true" indentsize="2">
<listeners>
<add name="ConsoleTraceListener" type="System.Diagnostics.ConsoleTraceListener"/>
<add name="TextWriterTraceListener" type="System.Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener" initializeData="console.log"/>
</listeners>
</trace>
</system.diagnostics>

 

4. Restart GP as an administrator (right-click, run as Administrator)

5. Run the vendor sync

6. Open console.log in the GP folder in a text editor. You should see the full sync output somewhere in this file.

7. Be sure to change the AppTraceLevel back to 0 now or the console.log file will grow indefinitely.
